Grow inwardly andΒ  help something beautiful keep growing outwardly.

What if investing in your own growth could also help care for a place that invites children, families, and communities to explore, learn, and fall a little more in love with the world around them?

Through the Inward EASE Institute's Outward Initiative, one membership can support two kinds of growth at the same time:

Your own β€” and something else you care about supporting.

Why Beech Creek Gardens?

Some places become part of your story without you realizing it at first.

My family first discovered Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve around ten years ago, and from our first visit, we fell in love with it.

My boys attended summer programs here when they were younger. We've watched butterflies land on sugar-water sticks held carefully in little hands. We've explored the caterpillar and butterfly houses, discovered turtles and other creatures, climbed and played and gotten wonderfully dirty, packed lunches so we could stay for hours, and wandered trails that remind you just how beautiful the land itself can be.

Over the years, Beech Creek became one of those places I was excited to share with other people. Most recently, when my brother and his family came to visit, we brought them here too.

The details may change over the years, but something about Beech Creek has remained remarkably consistent:

The care put into this place shows.

It is a beautiful place that invites you to observe, learn, explore, play, and love what you're surrounded by.

And after years of enjoying what others have worked so hard to create and care for, it would be an honor to help strengthen it for the families who will discover it next.

Β

A Place Worth Caring For

Beech Creek offers much more than a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

It creates opportunities for children to experience nature up close.

For families to explore together.

For curiosity to become learning.

For play to become discovery.

For people to slow down long enough to notice what is growing, crawling, flying, blooming, and changing around them.

And behind every trail, habitat, program, garden, play space, and experience are people caring for the land and making those opportunities possible.

Places like this don't simply happen.

They are stewarded.

And stewardship is something the Inward EASE Institute cares deeply about too.

What If Personal Growth Could Help Strengthen It?

The Inward EASE Institute was created to help people grow inwardly β€” developing greater understanding of themselves, practicing ways of moving through life's pressures well, exploring what matters to them, and continuing the lifelong work of becoming.

But personal growth doesn't have to end with ourselves.

The Outward Initiative connects inward growth with meaningful contribution by allowing every Institute member to choose an Expression β€” something beyond themselves they would be honored to strengthen.

Beech Creek could become one of those Expressions.

One membership. Two directions of impact.

When someone joins the Inward EASE Institute and chooses Beech Creek Gardens as their Expression:

50% of their membership supports the ongoing work of the Inward EASE Institute.

50% goes to Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve.

Month after month.

As members continue investing in their own growth, their membership also becomes a recurring source of support for a place they want to see continue growing too.

What Members Receive

Choosing Beech Creek as an Expression doesn't change the Institute experience.

Members become part of the full Inward EASE online community, with opportunities to discover, practice, belong, and contribute in ways that fit their own season of life.

Membership includes opportunities such as:

Breakthroughs
Learn how pressure affects energy, capacity, and everyday life β€” and begin discovering ways to move through it differently.

Practices
Explore practical supports for the 4 main ways pressure arises.Β

Weekly Understanding, Practice & Reflection
Small invitations to keep learning and experimenting in everyday life.

Firesides & Special Conversations
Gather for meaningful conversations around the things that shape how we live.

Virtue of the Month
Explore qualities such as courage, compassion, patience, purpose, joy, and perseverance β€” not simply as ideas, but as ways of becoming.

Mentorship & Ask Me Anything
Learn alongside other people and receive support as questions emerge.

Seasonal Themes & Community Experiences
Continue exploring new ideas, practices, and conversations throughout the year.

And through the Outward Initiative, all of that inward growth remains connected to a larger question:

How can what is growing within me become something good beyond me?

More Than a Membership

Financial support is only one way to care about something.

The hope of the Outward Initiative is also to help people notice, know, and participate in the good already happening around them.

So choosing Beech Creek as an Expression could also become an invitation to:

Visit.

Bring someone who's never been.

Enroll a child in a program.

Attend an event.

Volunteer.

Share Beech Creek's story.

Become a Beech Creek member.

Make a direct donation.

Or simply spend an afternoon wandering a trail and remembering why places like this are worth preserving.

The Inward EASE Institute doesn't want to replace the ways people already support Beech Creek.

It wants to become another doorway toward them.

If someone's primary desire is simply to financially support Beech Creek, the best way to do that is to give directly to Beech Creek.

But for someone who is also looking for a place to invest in their own continued growth, the Outward Initiative offers another possibility:

Grow yourself while helping care for something you love.

From Our Family to the Families Still to Come

There are photographs in our family of little hands holding butterflies at Beech Creek.

Children who aren't so little anymore.

There are memories of summer programs, muddy play, trails, friends, cousins, lunches packed for long afternoons, and discoveries made along the way.

And there are families who haven't made those memories yet.

Children who haven't held that butterfly.

People who haven't walked that trail.

Visitors who haven't discovered this beautiful little corner of the world.

Inward EASE Institute would love to help make sure they get the chance.
